Community Shares

It's important that our CSA community be diverse and inclusive.
We realize that local, organic produce is not affordable to all, so each year we collect donations for our Community Share Fund.

100% of donations are used to directly decrease share costs for low income households.

Able to Donate?

All CSA Members are invited to donate to our Community Share Fund when registering for their shares.
Together we've supported new Canadians, students, households on fixed income, single parents, underemployed and others who LOVE our veggies but couldn't otherwise access them.

Need a Discounted Share?

Shares are available at sliding-scale pricing, adjusted to your household's capacity to pay.
While all CSA members have some ability to tailor their weekly shares, there is not a LOT of control over what you bring home each week. Veggie availability changes seasonally - lots of greens in the spring, roots in the fall and all sorts of diversity through the summer.

The CSA model works best for households who:
Enjoy eating a LOT of fresh veggies
Have diverse & flexible veggie tastes, with limited dietary restrictions
Are able to pay some portion of the share cost, ideally on a monthly payment schedule
Want to be part of our farm-based community
Can reliably make it to one of our CSA pick-ups each week, June-October:

Fertile Ground Farm (St. Agatha) -  Fridays 3:30-6:00

OR

Mount Hope Neighbourhood (Kitchener) - Tuesdays 3:45-6:15pm

Head over to our CSA information page to learn more about the CSA model and see our member agreement, or Contact Angie directly
